Ghost Squad Coming To Wii

“The next game they are announcing is Ghost Squad. Ghost Squad will be going exclusive to the Wii. Oh, and it will be playable here today.

The game appears to be a first person shooter with knives and gomes. Oh and it’s going to use a light gun. HOLY SHIT a LIGHT GUN.

You can unlock 25 tactical weapons and it looks an awful lot like Time Crisis.”

I guess they haven’t heard of Ghost Squad before, which again shows how far arcade is behind the home consoles in most gamers minds. Oh well, at least this game is coming to the Nintendo Wii, and hopefully this will raise the profile of the game. Also I’m personally psyched about this because I love Ghost Squad. I shall look forward to more news and info on this.

“This port will feature Wii-specific game modes, new ways to use the Wii remote as a “multi-purpose tool,” and four-player co-op support. We’ve got a few screenshots that we grabbed from Jeux-France.”

I’m not sure these are from the Wii version of the game, but I thought I’d put them up anyway.

It also will feature cop-op multiplayer (no word on online play) and I assume it’s based on the first game, not the latest one to come out.
