It seems that Gizmodo is really picking up on a lot of arcade-related stuff these days. Which is fine with us, the more attention brought to arcades, the better. The latest thing I have seen on there is a custom MAME cabinet that includes 187 games pre-loaded onto it (certainly not with legal permission) with one addition that would certainly be a hit on the bar scene – a beer tap. The tap is located in the center of the cabinet between the player 1 and player 2 control panels so the drinks are not even a step away.

For those that enjoy drinking beer with their arcade game, you may be interested to know that whoever made this cabinet is selling them on eBay. As the eBay description states:

Other Gamerator features include …

* A refrigerated interior capable of holding a pony keg of domestic beer

* A 24 inch flat screen television

* Two conveniently-placed cup holders to house your beverage while playing

And the price tag for one of these cabinets? Only $2000. Start saving up those pennies now.

EDIT: Thanks to The Stinger Report for also sending us this news – I didn’t catch that until after I posted this!
