I was there! I too agree that The Act was the top game there! I did beat that game from start to finish in one run! :) and would do it again!

Maaan, I could lose a week in that place. So many pinballs as well. I found an Indiana Jones machine near my house thats on 50cent per credit, and gives free credits at really low scores. Must have spent two hours solid on it last weekend.

Hehe, I also have spent quite a bit of money on War: Final Assault before. I know it didn't do really well for Atari but I loved that game when you had a full deathmatch. I haven't played The Grid (or OutTriggers for that matter) but I would like to as I like FPS games and I would like to see how the trackball control works as opposed to the joystick control that War used.

Hey, no problem!

I think there were the same two guys on the middle Grid cabinets the entire time I was there...I jumped on and played a few rounds (fairly badly) since I had never tried it before. However, if there had been a set of linked War: Final Assault cabinets there, it would have been all over ;-)

To be clear: War is the only non-pinball that I've ever fed $5 bills into...

It's pretty cool that it was in the location test cabinet, I wish I could have footed that bill.

I also noticed the network of The Grid games. That is one I would love to have - then again I'd love to have most of the games that were there. :)

It was pretty dang cool. I only knew about The Act via your blog, so I was stoked to see it in person. It was right next to a bunch of Laserdisc games, and always had a crowd around it.
