Pinball in your area

Twisted Supreme July 29, 2008 4

Thanks to Stern we still have a fairly decent flow of new tables being designed and manufactured. Whilst checking through my usual websites, which include other blogs, distributors and manufacturers I spotted that BHM Vending had given Sterns latest pinball tables top spot on the website. It’s nice to see this kind of thing and I hope pinball gets more of push in my neck of the woods because I can’t get enough of them. There aren’t really many round my way, I have to go up London to get my fix, which is troublesome at the moment as I’m quite busy. Christ, I haven’t even made it up to the Trocadero yet to play Sega Rally 3 (shame on me!).

How about you guys, do you have any tables in your local arcades, bowling alleys etc?

PS – I feel like I’ve asked this before, but I think it was a while ago, so it could be interesting to see if there are more tables about.

    Sure.

I live in Pittsburgh, PA and there’s a ton of places to play. Up to and including PAPA world headquarters:

Although I say I’ll go every year, I never do. I think this year may be the year.

There’s nearly none, except for the rochester game room show which was held in April. Most arcades just don’t get the new pinball machines, the newest one around here might be like, Rollercoaster Tycoon. We have a Dave and Busters here but they NEVER get anything new and they have had the same games in there since they opened for the most part, also, they don’t have any pinball at all.

My friend Craig showed me this website that has a spot on it called “The Metro Review”

If you live in the tri-state area you can find places that have pinball and the conditions of the machines. Unlike the rest of the site it’s kept up to date by the fans who visit the site.

Thanks to that site I found a couple of great places that still offer pinball.

8/03/08: I lived in Illinois for 40 years of my life and now live in Colorado and play in tournaments 4X a month there. I have started a site each for IL and CO pinball, plus you will find links to pinrebel.com which is an alphabetical listing of games in both states. Hope this helps. Pinrebel is a publicly-updatable site so we all can work together to keep pinball alive in the commercial world. Thanks,
