Foosball on Steroids

[Thanks to reader Paul for the tip]

When I was at ASI earlier this year I saw a couple of air hockey tables which had incorporated some new things into the tables like bumpers, sound, different kinds of goals, etc. to make the game more interesting. It was a great idea so why not take them over to foosball? That’s what designer Elia Marinucci did with this ‘Foosball on steroids’ table. In addition to being a foosball table in the traditional sense, the game also incorporates pinball bumpers on the corners and a magnet system that can be activated by a button above each goal on the table to mess around with the ball (which will obviously be made out of metal which AFAIK isn’t standard for foosball). The only problem I see with this table is that all the players are the same color, foosball usually has two colors so you can easily distinguish the teams.

I’m not sure where you can get one of these however, the designer is in Germany but I didn’t find anything about the table from a quick glance on their website.
