cas: Troc made the decision to buy the SF4 cabs at the show, for a nice price as the exhibitor was apparently wanting to "get rid of" those cabs. The decision was made at the end of the 2nd day or on the 3rd, I can't quite remember. I hung out at Troc for a while Sunday night and there was of course constant play on it with the group dwindling down later into the evening. There's a couple guys already working on getting their Abel and El Fuerte skills up, with the two of them getting winning streaks pretty consistently through the night.

The Troc bought 2 of Pump It Up: Absolute; one upgrade and one machine. They weren't on location as of Sunday night but I'd expect it to not take too long. And yep, there is a lot of anticipation for Absolute.

BluBlaze was a bit hard to catch if you weren't really looking for it. If you were walking away from SF4 towards the main entrance, it was on the right next to a Silver Strike Bowling and Golden Tee. Close to one of the many Guitar Hero Arcades as well.

I note that the version of R-Tuned in Funland, Trocadero doesn't have the card system.

Well there is Europa which SR3 uses. I noticed that R-Tuned costs the same as SR3 even though SR3 uses much more advanced hardware. They really need to start using that board more.

Sega need to make a Lindberg 2. None of the racers they've made recently look better than Outrun 2, which is getting very long in the tooth at this stage. The only Lindberg game I've seen so far that looked to be a real step up from Chihiro is House of the Dead 4. Maybe they don't have the development tem size/talent to do something more ambitious. Rambo looked rather unfinished.
