It seems like London is a getting a lot of arcade love recently with different companies testing out games there. The latest game to show up is IGS’s Speed Driver 2, a 3D racing game that reminds me of Sega’s Initial D. I do like the cabinet design as it’s sleek and flashy – if you have had a chance to play it, comment on what you thought about it below. I know that the 3D stuff is still somewhat new for IGS as they have primarily focused on creating 2D games (including Oriental Legend 2, which I have played and it’s excellent).

what makes you think I’m from birmingham. I’m from way up in south yorkshire where we used to have a namco wonderpark in meadowhall until meadowhall wanted to boot them out to put more catering facilities in its place (there known to boot out people there fed up with like they did with sainsburys). now all I have is hollywoodbowl to go for the best arcade games. such a dam pity I’m not nearer manchester where they have a namco station in the trafford centre. never knew there was a namco arcade in birmingham is it still open and if so where is it?

        Hey arcads4ever

I used to work part time in Namco for several years and went up on day of closing. Spoke to the managers and they said Meadowhall didnt want to extend the licence as there were too many “undesirables” hanging around the centre. It totally sucks. I live in Brighton now – What is Hollywood Bowl like? They did get some recent games but I never liked the atmosphere there & it certainly wasn’t a patch on Namco. Do they have any fighters? Or even get new games? – Toby

    Sup guys.

    Played it yesterday….
Surprised to see a new game in Brighton.
That is the pier. We also have 3x Guitar Hero’s.

The actual game is rubbish, total Maximum Tune 3 rip off, with awful music.

the only newest game they have in hollywood bowl is rambo no fighters unfortunatly. rambo’s OK and hollywood bowl has only got a tiny bit better since namco shut down and they have maxitune at least and crazy typhoon, although its much more cramp then before with more new machines but not new video games other than rambo. board of rambo now and want razing storm, ubeat and/or primeval hunt to replace ghost squad and that simulator in hollywood bowl.

your toby7ten aren’t you from youtube?!
