The pre-IAAPA news keeps on rolling, now with news from Andamiro regarding their popular Pump It Up game series. The company has announced that they will be showcasing a new cabinet design at the expo, a configuration called “TX”. The TX model features a 50″ screen (it is not mentioned whether it’s plasma or LCD), new lighting features and improved audio design. The cabinet will be shown with the FIESTA Pump It Up software that was released earlier this year; no word yet on pricing for just the cabinet.

The full press release can be read @ CoinOpToday.com. In case you are not familiar with IAAPA, it’s a huge amusement/theme park expo that is taking place next week in Orlando, FL. We will be there for full coverage so stay tuned!

UPDATE: Reader Bacon int he comments points out that this cabinet has been available in the Asian market since the first part of this year so this will mark the US debut of the TX model.

I wonder if it’ll be compatible with the Pro series.

this cabinet has already been out in Asia for some time now. I was able to get some pictures from fans and the distributor out there of the actual cabinet. http://www.bemanistyle.com/index.php/news/andamrio-redesigns-pump-it-up-fx-pads-1881

certain versions of the cabinet include buttons, so PRO should be compatible.
