DJ Max Technika 2 kits to be released Friday

A short time ago we found out that Pentavision Global would be bringing the new DJ Max Technika 2 to IAAPA this week but it wasn’t clear on when it would see a US release. That question has been answered thanks to Eddie at BemaniStyle.com who found out that the game will be getting a kit release so operators with existing DJMT cabinets can upgrade but also that the kit will be released this Friday, November 19th.

The kits are being handled by What’s Next Distribution, which is owned by Chris Cotty. If that name sounds familiar then you will recall that Mr. Cotty is also handling the release of another arcade kit this week, Friction. That makes two new game kits to look forward to this week(possibly three if the Big Buck World kits make their way out this week as well), which is great news. The dedicated version of DJMT2 will be coming along at a later date, with no word on pricing at this time but perhaps we’ll find out more at IAAPA in that regard. We could very well see a kitted version of DJMT2 at the show, although the BemaniStyle post doesn’t mention that so we’ll have to wait and see.
