Ion makes the iCade a reality

It started off as an April Fool’s joke at ThinkGeek and then a couple of modders created their own “iCade” cabinets – a dock for iPads that gives your Apple device some bona-fide arcade controls. It may be a far cry from the real thing but if you have an iPad an little space for a full-sized arcade machine, then this is for you. It’s an official iCade dock, made by Ion and ThinkGeek, due to release this spring for $99 (iPad not included). Tech site Engadget got some hands-on time with the iCade, where you can see them play Atari’s official Asteroids port. You can see the video by clicking the link below.
