We just got this press release from Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix, which includes a statement from Raw Thrills’ President Eugene Jarvis. It’s a brief PR soI’ll just quote it here:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

APRIL 4, 2011 – Skokie, IL –Employees at arcade video game companies Raw Thrills, Inc. and Play Mechanix, Inc. have joined together to donate more than $8,000 to the Japanese relief effort. Raw Thrills President, Eugene Jarvis stated, “On behalf of Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix, I would like to convey our deepest sympathies to the people of Japan. We are quite saddened with news of the catastrophic events that have taken place. We have directed our donations to the Red Cross to assist in their efforts with helping the people in Japan.”

It’s not too late to find a way to help with relief efforts so if you have the means and the opportunity to help, take it! Every little bit helps when it comes to disaster relief.
