New trailer for Sega’s Virtua Tennis 4 Arcade

Sega has been busy for the past few weeks with their new Youtube channel for Sega Amusements. Yesterday in particular they uploaded quite a few new trailers including a new trailer for one game we have seen pictures of but not seen it in action, Virtua Tennis 4. The trailer below should give you a good idea of how it will play – I like the idea of the mini-games actually as I imagine they should help give the game some replay value in the arcade. This will be at IAAPA in two weeks so we’ll get some hands-on time with it soon enough.

They also have uploaded a trailer for the recently released Let’s Go Island 3D:

    I shouldn’t complain, but…

SEGA, please, could we have, ya know, a shooter or a platformer every now and again?

Yes, I understand: you probably can’t sell one of those for 10k, no matter how big the monitor, but, my God, there *is* a market for it!

And, while you’re at it, Shining Force Cross?! In the West? PLEASE???

(I’ll even take it on console, though I’m sure that’s curdling the blood of ah to some degree.)

🙂 It always does but I’m only one guy. I’m sure SFC would probably do better on consoles though
