What’s Happening in Pinball: X-Men Limited Edition Video, Wizard of Oz Factory Pics & Video

The 4th of July has passed here so I’m back at looking for content. There is some pinball news today I’m sure pinball wizards will appreciate. Let’s start with X-Men Pinball by Stern. They have released a video showing off the Limited Edition model in action. The spinning magnetic disc is cool as is the Nightcralwer targets which are like an enhanced drop target

The up and coming competitor, Wizard of Oz also has an update. The game is in production with a current eye on a full release not slated for September. What was seen at E3 was not a 100% complete model however. According to Jersey Jack: “Although we exhibited a game at E3 and the Northwest Pinball Show last month, we have not told you everything about the game. we need to keep some things to be discovered. The General Illumination lights, another game feature not revealed, several innovations to make maintenance and service easier for the casual owner as well as the route operator and Keith’s Rules in programming++”. As I currently face some maintenance on the pinball machines I currently own, anything to make that easier is welcome news. Also unveiled by JJP is a new video showing off more of their LCD  work (something that easily stands out from what can be done with the monochrome DMD like X-Men has):
