World of Warcraft Gets An Arcade Cabinet – In China

Newsfeed 1233 via The Stinger Report

Just how popular is Bilzzard’s WoW in China?I could flip that around and also ask, just how popular are arcades in China these days? Either way the answer is somewhere around “quite a bit” as the ChinaJoy China Digital Entertainment Expo seems to show. Among the various home games they ha such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Starcraft II, Kung Fu Strike and others, they had something that is interest to us there – an arcade-like cabinet for World of Warcraft. Photos via GameWatch:

This is not entirely unusual to see a PC-game get the arcade cabinet treatment though. Don’t forget Counterstrike NEO:

UPDATE: Speaking of WoW getting this treatment, how about a home-made Diablo 3 cabinet? Too bad there’s that always-on DRM to play through…

The cool kids aren’t playing Diablo III–they’re playing PSO2!
