New Video Of Wizard of Oz Pinball; Win a Trip To NYC for BBHD Championship

I´ve had limited access to the internet for the past couple of days but I have enough time to cover a couple of things at the moment.

First off, Jersey Jack Pinball released a new video of their Wizard of Oz Pinball machine yesterday, check it out below. This has a lot of voice samples although from what the email stated, the software isn´t 100% ready yet.

Second, Play Mechanix has sent out a press release about the opportunity to win a trip to New York City as a part of the Big Buck HD World Championship that is coming up in November. Essentially you just need to apply for it through the Big Buck HD Facebook page, more details can be read through the press release below. Sega also issued a press release today about Operation G.H.O.S.T. but there is nothing there we haven´t discussed already on the site here.

Big Buck World Championship Qualifying Now Open

(Glen Ellyn, Ill.) – Big Buck Hunter, the cult favorite bar arcade game, is gearing up for the fifth annual Big Buck World Championship, with $50,000 in prize money on the line, and qualifying has officially opened. Regional qualifying will run through October 7, 2012. Players from around the country will compete for 64 coveted spots and a chance to win a $15,000 grand prize at the championship in a double-elimination bracketed shootout, held November 9-10 at the Altman Building in New York City.

To earn a spot in the World Championship, players must compete in the Online Regional Qualifying Tournament on Big Buck HD games in either the north, east, south or west regions of the country. A minimum of 25 two-trek plays per person are necessary to qualify and the 12 highest scoring players in each region advance to the World Championship, along with 16 wild card spots for the highest cumulative scores in the country.

Women competing for a spot in the Ladies Tournament, held on Friday night at the World Championship, must play a minimum of 15 times in the Ladies Online Regional Qualifying Tournament and post one of the top 32 nation-wide scores to qualify. Women are also encouraged to qualify for the World Championship in addition to the Ladies Tournament.
