Pins And Needles, A Pinball Museum In The Heart Of LA

Newsfeed 1285 via The Stinger Report

Here is a location opening that we should have heard about when it happened around the end of May/beginning of June last year, but as it sometimes happens those announcements go under our radar for a while. Fortunately the place is still open so if you are in the LA area and you have a pinball addiction that needs some massaging, then you are in luck with Pins and Needles.

According to one blog post I read at their website, they do not see this project as an arcade or a bar but “a step-up from a man-cave”. The collection currently consists of about two dozen games, the oldest machine being Baazar by Bally (1966), the most recent Bram Stokers Dracula by Williams (1993). There are plenty of machines in between that come from the 70s and 80s to fulfill your nostalgic desires. The line-up does change on occasion too, so regulars should stay tuned to that. The hours appear to vary but fortunately they are posted weekly on the P & N Blog which you can access here. I couldn’t find any pictures of the location on the website but fortunately a website called Cool Hunting posted a video about Pins and Needles on their website last week.

We wish Molly the best of luck in the endeavor!

This place rules. They’ve actually been open for years, not since June. In June they just moved downstairs.

Looks like “projectnrt/SegaOrbi” (they even have the same avatar) is spreading lies about Arcade Heroes. He says “his sources at ArcadeHeroes” (apparently he owns you guys now) have information about SNK releasing King of Fighters XIV and a new Metal Slug. Unbelievable. I hope you guys can ban him from the comments section here at least. This pretty much shows that he lied to you about him thinking Zach Morris is a troll. He hangs out on every Zach Morris blog out there and worships him. I thought you people would like to know.

Thanks for the tip. Today I got an email from someone asking if I had heard anything about KOFXIV or a new Metal Slug but we have heard nothing about what is coming to JAEPO yet. Kind of heard to confirm something like that when we haven’t even heard of SNKP is even going to the show!

Not to mention I think I recall this person making claims before the show that some new Sega hardware was supposed to be there and none of it turned out to be true.
