JAEPO 2013 Videos #1: Groove Coaster, Code of Joker + More

JAEPO 2013 just started less than a day ago but we already have some videos of content from the show, let us being the overloading from here.

Taito’s Groove Coaster Arcade. Second video is a bit longer, has some interviews and such so jump ahead about 3 min to get to them playing GCA.

Also, Arcade Heart 3 LOVE MAX!!!!! by Examu. First video is a trailer, second video is play on a NESiCA cabinet, where you can also catch footage of several games including the new shooter Crimson Clover, re-release of Ikargua, a unique title called Do Not Fall,

Here’s a trailer for a new version of Shining Force Cross most of us won’t get to play, ever.

Sega’s Code of Joker card arcade game. First is a Sega trailer, second is a look at the machine itself by Gigazine.

Finally, some video of the pig racing game by Capcom. All we’ve had until now were undoctored snapshots from location tests. Kind of sad that this is what Capcom celebrates their 30th anniversary with on the arcade side, considering the history they have had in arcades through the 80s and 90s. But it is unique in terms of the cabinet and the controls and it carries appeal to younger audiences.

Chinese company Wahlap has made a move into Japan as they are at the show. Here’s Dance Core

Here is an interactive floor setup seen at the show. There are always a few companies at events like IAAPA where I have seen these.

Stay tuned for more!

I don’t know what other people think BUT is it me or does that pig racing game look a little bit rude or is my mind just perverted?especially after watching how the game was played. It did look rude from looking at the first photo of the game or maybe its all in my head. None the less it looks a different but very fun game for all ages, just a pity that this will never be released worldwide more than double likely :-/

The piggy game is cute. It might seem a little pervy but I showed the video to some of my patrons and they they tripped out! They told me they’d totally play that game. I got the same reaction from even the girls. I believe those pigs and kitties come from Monster Hunter; which a lot of gamers recognize. But I could understand that some operators might think the magic could ware off quick.
