Logan Hardware Opening Up Arcade Expansion On Feb. 14th In Chicago, IL

When it comes to arcade location news, the Chicago area gets a lot of love. Of course Illinois is the center of arcade developments in North America; that used to be California but these days pretty much every name in the business is headquartered somewhere in the state. So perhaps the two go hand-in-hand as finding an arcade in the Greater Chicago area has become easier over the past few years.

Today comes news that a company called Logan Hardware, which opened up in 2010 in the Logan Square area of Chicago, is expanding their small collection from their music store to the Tavern/Arcade which will provide a barcade atmosphere for both video games and pinball. It looks like their stock of games is pretty well rounded already – Aurcade.com lists 46 games including 720, Berzerk, Black Widow, Burgertime, Centipede, Donkey Kong Jr., Elevator Action, Frogger, Joust, Mario Bros., Ms. Pac-Man, Punch-Out, Robotron 2084, Star Wars/Empire Strikes Back Dual, TRON, Vindicators Part II, Wizard of Wor and more; For pinball they have Back To the Future, Doctor Who, Dolly Parton, Elvira and the Party Monsters, Fire!,  Last Action Hero and Pinbot but from the press release it sounds like there will be much more than these to play when Feb. 14th rolls around. We wish them the best of luck as they expand and if you are in the area, drop by and give them your support!
