A new FEC has opened their doors in Kansas City, MO and thanks to AH reader Jordan Frederick, we have a good look at what the new venue has to offer.

Called the Powerplay Family Entertainment Center, they have enough big attractions that they sound more like an indoor theme park. Those attractions include: “Bumper Cars, a Roller Coaster, a Ferris Wheel,  Lazer maze, Lazer Tag, Tilt A Whirl, Highway 66 Bowling, a Train,  a Carousel, outdoor Go Karts,… a buffet, a carnival food truck in the middle of the place, and a whole lot more” according to Jordan. Here are some pictures of those:

For the arcade side, Jordan states that there are “a few hundred arcade games” which appears to mostly include redemption, as you can see in the pictures below. From video-only stuff I caught from the pictures he shared, they have: Guitar Hero Arcade, Terminator Salvation, Target Terror Gold, Crisis Zone, Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga Anniversary, Donkey Kong/Mario Bros. combo, and a Pump It Up Machine.  I notice a pinball machine in one of the photos but it is too far away to tell what it is.

As the venue is open now, if you happen to live in the area you can go and check it out. They have enough content there where it will take more than one visit for anyone to do everything they might want I imagine. We wish them the best of luck in the business, it looks like a great venue from the start.
