Leaked To The Public: WWE Superstar Rumble Card Redemption By Andamiro USA

While our focus usually isn’t placed on redemption games, they aren’t banned from being discussed here. Recently Sara has covered titles from ICE such as Wham-o Blast or the videmption Tomy Waterfuls Ring Toss; we also tend to cover a few redemption titles around trade shows.

Today we have received some information on the next card/ticket redemption game in the works by Andamiro USA. Our thanks to the anonymous source close to the company that provided this info.

Andamiro is no stranger to licenses and this game combines elements from some of their top releases – Despicable Me Jelly Lab, Spongebob Pineapple Arcade and NFLPA Superstar Football Coins but with a stronger influence from the first two. Like the Spongebob game, there’s some quick coin/pachinko style gaming going on here, with the player controlling metal balls that you attempt to get into one of the holes within the wrestling belt; those that don’t make it fall through the pins to targets below. Video screens function as animated scoreboards, showing footage from wrestling matches while commentator and ring announcer Byron Saxton recorded some lines specifically for this game. Both the screens and the cards showcase several popular wrestlers. Here’s the video followed by a little more info:

Eight collectible cards will be introduced with the game with  additional wrestlers to follow. The first set will feature The Rock, John Cena, , Sasha Banks, Bayley, Finn Baylor, Roman Reigns, Undertaker and AJ Styles. The game is soon landing on test in Southern California (the Torrance area) and expects a release around September (September is going to be a very busy time for the amusement business). It will certainly be at IAAPA 2017 as a part of Andamiro’s booth.

For fun, here’s a timeline of some wrestling games to grace our market. The 80s :
