Arcade Heroes Week-in-review podcast #3 (w/ Kevin Williams)

Shaggy June 29, 2009 0

In this weeks podcast, I was able to figure out how to get a guest recorded and with that I had Kevin Williams of The Stinger Report on the program. We discuss a variety of topics that are either directly or indirectly related to the arcade industry in some way, from the death of Michael Jackson to upcoming arcade releases. This show is actually a little bit longer than the previous two so bear in mind the slightly larger filesize of 62MB

Stumbled across the site today and checkin out everything on here. I’m a PC gamer but like arcades too. Just finished listening. You can tell this Kevin guy knows his stuff. Couldn’t really hear the other guy too well. This is a really good idea you had with these podcast and I think you should do more of them Kevin. Between these podcast and the Stinger Report you seem like the go to guy for everything in all of the industry. Like the accent you have, your voice was made for this kinda stuff.

Shaggy, you should make yourself a pop filter. You can make one with a clothes hanger and a pair of tights. Just stops the breathing on the mic making noise.

Wonderful to have Kevin Williams on the show. He’s got so much inside knowlege on the industry.

I will have to try the noise cancellation feature next time. Sorry that my voice volume was so low – I had the mic close and I tried to speak loudly but it seems that with the stereo mix feature it cuts the mic volume in half. I’m looking for a workaround but it might just be the limitation of the crappy RealTek sound card.

yeah, I have to agree with the sound being low (especially shaggy’s audio). Still a good program.

Also, will you be putting on iTunes so that we can subscribe to it?
