James Ko leaves Andamiro USA to form Pipeline Games, INC.

A few days ago I heard that in a surprise announcement, the CEO of Andamiro USA (makers of games like NX Absolute) was leaving the company to pursue a different opportunity. Today, he sent out a press release stating that he left Andamiro to form his own coin-op game company called Pipeline Games, INC. Not only does he already have some products lined-up to produce, he already has registered a booth at the Amusement Expo 2010 in Vegas next month. The website for Pipeline Games is very incomplete at the moment but it does list three products – Grip Strength, SlimStop and SlimStop DX. A quick search on a couple of search engines don’t reveal any relevant results for those games right now so whether his company will produce any video product is something we will have to wait for. Still, it’s always great to have another company join the coin-op ranks so good luck to Mr. Ko and his company in their efforts!

According the PR, he left on his own but as you know what really goes on behind the scene’s is never put in the press releases.
