Concept art of the new WoW theme park

Newsfeed 1017 via The Stinger Report

Who knew that one day, the phenomenon known as World of Warcraft would move onto become a full-fledged amusement park. I guess it wasn’t much of a stretch considering how popular the game is as games of lesser popularity have been turned into theme parks (contrary to what some are reporting, the WoW theme-park is not the first video-game inspired theme park in the world; see the Sega Republic amusement park and the Dragon Quest theme park for previous examples). So far, there aren’t many details on everything you will be able to do there, but there is some concept art showing off some of the locations visitors will witness and you can see some of the structures under construction in the video below. I don’t know how old the footage in this video of the park is, as it looks like it still has a way to go before completion – hopefully nothing is rushed that doesn’t need to be.   I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this as the end of April comes around.

If you are looking to visit the new WoW theme park then you also will need to book a trip to China as that’s where it will be found, in the eastern part of the country in the Wujin district.
