One strength of arcade games is that their skill-based nature allows for great competitions, some of which are worthy of dramatized documentaries. Some games are more skill-based than others and when it comes to Konami’s line-up of titles that usually stick to Japan, they are well-known for not really catering to the “casual” audience. As such, Konami is planning a huge tournament event in Japan for next week that revolves around 12 of their titles. Players will compete to be the ultimate arcade champion, playing titles at one of 29 arcades in the country. Titles include: Beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle, Dance Dance Revolution X2, GuitarFreaks & DrumMania XG2 Groove To Live, Jubeat Copious, Pop ‘N Music tune Street, Reflec Beat, Quiz Academy VIII, Baseball Heroes 2011,  Mahjohng Fight Club Kizuna Chapter, Tenkaichi 2 Official Shogi Shogi Association of Japan, and Eternal Knights 4.
