Saturday Fun: Live Action Short for Tekken Tag 2; New Initial D7 Trailer

It’s Saturday and that usually means news is a bit slow. But here are a couple of videos worth sharing with an arcade edge to them.

First this short live action film of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. I never wasted my timepartook in the viewing of that Tekken movie that came out sometime ago so one of you will have to fill me in on whether this 5 1/2 minutes of action was better than the 92 min of that particular film. This comes from the Namco Bandai EU channel so interesting to see this thing with official support as opposed to just a fan made effort. Also in terms of the arcade release, TTT2 will be released in kit form in the US but when exactly I am not yet sure.

In news of racing games, Sega’s Initial D7 is going to be released next month in Japan but let me place an emphasis on that Japan part so as to not get anyone’s hopes up seeing that 5 and 6 were pretty well neglected out West and Sega has made no indication so far that they are going to change their tune in that regard. Speaking of Sega though, I have an interview I am finishing up with someone at Sega regarding their new Dream Raiders game so stay tuned for that, coming soon.

Both videos taken shamelessly from the Board With No Name.

There’s already a TTT2 at Round 1 right now. Not for sure if its the first and only in the US to have it at the moment.
