High Scores Arcade Relocates To Alameda, CA

(Thanks to Dave. K for the tip!)

In the reporting of new locations opening their doors, it’s not too often that we come across one that makes a move from one side of the country to the other. Such is the case with a location called either High Scores Arcade or High Scores Interactive Arcade Museum. Originally opened in Burlington, NJ back in 2010, they moved out West and re-opened their doors in Alameda, CA this past weekend. The location is operated by a husband & wife team and the game selection is focused on arcade goodness from the 80s and 90s.

They have a little over 30 games to choose from which includes: Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Joust, Karate Champ, Millipede, TRON, Paperboy, Congo Bongo, Star Castle, Space Invaders, Final Fight and many more. They also have a few pinball machines: 4 Aces EM, Spanish Eyes EM, Road Kings, & Time Machine. Judging by the pictures that they have posted to their Facebook page so far, it looks like they are off to a great start, here’s hoping that it just gets better for them from here!

Their official website is here / Facebook page is here.

How did I miss this considering it is practically in my own backyard? Alameda is also the home to Lucky Ju Ju Pinball museum.
