Big Buck World Championship 2015 Slated for Oct. 23rd-24th in Chicago, IL

Play Mechanix has announced new details about the upcoming Big Buck World Championship 2015 event, which has grown to become the biggest annual arcade competition in the world.

Each year the company has moved the venue around, last year it was held in Minneapolis, MN and this year they are having it take place in Play Mechanix’s backyard, Chicago, IL. The particular venue will be the Hard Rock Cafe which the email I received about it describes as “our biggest venue yet” to handle the larger number of qualified players. Like last year, the event will also be broadcast live on Twitch.

Thanks to some sponsorships by Old Wisconsin and Moosehead Lager, they are actually hoping to get the prize pool up to $75,000 in cash prizes that can be won by the competitors.
