Initially unveiled in May 2018, the surprise announcement of Raw Thrills’ biggest game cabinet to-date had no trouble in dominating headlines across the gaming sphere. Announced as a Dave & Busters timed exclusive for Summer 2018, that wasn’t exactly a precise release date like console gamers are accustomed to so interested players have been waiting with baited breath to find out when they can find this fresh Halo gaming experience. It was only last week that we heard about the location test for it in Illinois but it seems that involved parties are eager to get the game onto location as promised.
Well, the wait appears to be over – not long ago Raw Thrills was promoting photos from their factory floor showing Fireteam Raven units being tested after production…
…and now thanks to our friend Nick over at The Arcade Hunters, we see that the game is setup in all of it’s majestic glory at the Islandia location (Long Island, NY) Dave & Busters location(correction here as previously I stated the NYC location). On an Instagram & Facebook post, Nick also mentions that the game is “as big as four Cruis’n Blast units put together”, which is what I thought from the measurements I was taking at my location…

Granted, the NYC location is probably important enough that they get their hands on units in any “first wave” of company-wide game shipments but if you see one out there at a different location, let us know in the comments below.
UPDATE: Raw Thrills just shared this on their social media, saying how “pictures don’t do it justice”. A truth that plagues arcade media of all types ;):
