We have known that the latest installment of Konami’s DDR series, X2, would be getting a December release in the US and that time has finally arrived. The software has reportedly been tweaked to fix issues such as a timing drift and game crashes that we saw at IAAPA and with that the game is ready for prime time. DDRX2 is now listed as ready to order at places like BMI Gaming, who informed us of the availability of the game. They have DDR X2 listed for order at just under $11k(a little higher than DDRX as I recall), with orders being able to ship this coming week. The game will see a very limited run of 100 units initially – assuming the game sells well and sells fast perhaps Konami will consider building more but for now venues interested in getting one are going to have to act fast.
