The news just keeps rolling with Sega’s new Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Arcade (in case you missed it, you can see what the cabinet looks like here, as the video below only shows the screen). Here is a brief video showing the game, I assume it’s from the location test at the Chuck E. Cheese in Skokie but the video creator doesn’t say. We do learn from the video that the game has a drift pedal as a part of the controls, and we get a brief look at which tracks are available. Unfortunately they didn’t look over the character roster to see if any additions have been made in that regard.
Also, it’s important to note that often the version of a game that shows up on a location test is NOT the final version of the game. Loctests are the beta tests of the arcade industry and are done to see not only how well a game does but for feedback to come out about what does and doesn’t work in a game.
