A little over a year ago we reported on a new location opening in Las Vegas called Insert Coin(s). It’s a nightclub concept that combines a bar, dance floor, DJs and video games into one venue, that they deem a “videolounge gamebar”. The games in particular cover both segments of gaming, one the arcade side and the other the consoles. The Vegas location has around 60 arcade cabinets ranging in age from 1978 to 2001; so I expect that the Minneapolis,MN location will probably be similar. This of course means that there will be new two arcades in the area which have a strong focus on classic games, the other being Rusty Quarters which opened around Christmas last year, and on top of that a bowling alley that also has a pretty good collection of old and new games (mostly pinball) called Blainbrook Entertainment Center.
