With IAAPA 2015 approaching fast, companies are beginning to lift the veil on what it is that they are brining to the show. They always like to keep a few things under wraps as “surprises” and this release as posted to their Facebook page mentions: “We’ll have 9 NEW games at IAAPA 2015, read all about them here! … but there are TWO missing. Can you guess what they are?!“. The 9 titles mentioned cover a lot of categories with a focus on redemption gaming; for video they do discuss Storm Racer G Motion Deluxe (which I covered in the past here); Transformers Theatre (the 80″ screen version of the game) and a new version of their racing/Demolition Derby racing game that they launched earlier this year, Showdown Special Attraction 2 player (4 player shown).
As to what the two unknown games are, they could be anything including redemption titles. But since this is a site that primarily focuses on video games, I’ll guess Luigi Mansion Arcade and Mario & Sonic At the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Yeah they are wild guesses and Sega could certainly unveil something completely new. We’ll know for sure in 4 weeks.
The release also mentions Sonic Dash Extreme will be there; two versions of their popular Plants Vs. Zombies: The Last Stand videmption game; and as a surprise, a game that was released in Japan 3 years ago, an edutainment video game for kids called Let’s Go Safari. Here’s a pic from the game in 2012, we’ll have to wait until IAAPA to see if anything has changed:

I hope they try the Sandbox game and the Nail priting machines in the west. Very novel stuff.
Please, PLEASE let one of the surprise games be the long-awaited House of the Dead 5!
The press release on SEGA Amusement’s official website has the marquee “Sega is set to unveil must see product”.
Are they hinting at a NEW Arcade board? RingWide 2? RINGEDGE 3?
In a previous release about it they suggested that it is a couple of new games that have not been mentioned previously. Very likely Luigi Mansion Arcade and something else like that Mario & Sonic arcade title shown in Japan earlier this year.
Sega International has never been the ones to unveil named PC hardware, that is always handled by Sega Japan. Even when they did Europa hardware, they backed off from mentioning that after Sega Rally 3 since it tended to confuse (any of their non RingXXXX hardware is just custom PC tailored for the specific game anyways, like Grid and Showdown). They prefer to not confuse show attendees with such nuances that their operator buyers generally don’t care about (everyone is just throwing a PC into a box anyways, only fans and technicians care about what they are officially called)
