It has been a little while since Bandai Namco Amusements America had uploaded a new video to their Youtube channel but today that changed with this very sleek trailer promoting their new World’s Largest Pac-Man arcade game.
It’s always great to see the manufacturer promoting their own product with videos that have a little production value to them, as opposed to relying on distributors to do that for them. One NW based operator I know said that the game was earning very well out of the gate so that is a plus. I still wonder how other classic games would look on this screen – particularly vector based arcade titles like Star Wars or Major Havoc. What are your thoughts on this latest arcade release?
Two of the arcades in my area have this game and it seems like it’s doing as well as the other popular video arcade games. Hopefully they add in more games to this, like Galaga and Dig Dug (if they do so, I hope they don’t do what they did with Star Wars by charging $1000+ dollars for it).
