IAAPA 2021 is just a few weeks away, and that means that some companies are wanting to bring some attention to the new products that they’ve had in the development pipeline for quite a while. We recently mentioned Sega’s pieces as well as American Pinball’s new game, and Team Play’s videmption game was mentioned on the last Newsbytes. Today, we have a quick look at a new videmption game from Touch Magix called Mega Blaster.
As of this moment, the only info I have on it comes from this photo below. The game is on location test in India (where Touch Magix is headquartered; At the moment their sales are represented by Elaut USA, who represents a few other manufacturers in selling games to distributors), but it will make it’s industry showing at IAAPA, as the headline mentions.
As you can see from the image, it involves TNT, where above the big plunger it mentions “Use the right force to win bonus.” The marquee shows colored blocks being blown up, so I also have to assume it’s some kind of block blasting game. When I first saw this, it reminded me of Adrenaline’s first game Kaboom!, but the block aspect would certainly set it apart in that regard.
We’ll find out more about this one soon, where we can expect news on both video games and videmption pieces alike. What do you think about this one in particular?
