Here is a location opening that we should have heard about when it happened around the end of May/beginning of June last year, but as it sometimes happens those announcements go under our radar for a while. Fortunately the place is still open so if you are in the LA area and you have a pinball addiction that needs some massaging, then you are in luck with Pins and Needles.
According to one blog post I read at their website, they do not see this project as an arcade or a bar but “a step-up from a man-cave”. The collection currently consists of about two dozen games, the oldest machine being Baazar by Bally (1966), the most recent Bram Stokers Dracula by Williams (1993). There are plenty of machines in between that come from the 70s and 80s to fulfill your nostalgic desires. The line-up does change on occasion too, so regulars should stay tuned to that. The hours appear to vary but fortunately they are posted weekly on the P & N Blog which you can access here. I couldn’t find any pictures of the location on the website but fortunately a website called Cool Hunting posted a video about Pins and Needles on their website last week.
We wish Molly the best of luck in the endeavor!
