Stern Releases The Making Of Stranger Things Video UPDATE: Unboxing video

There isn’t going to be a lot of news for a while thanks to the shutdowns surrounding COVID-19, which has also affected every manufacturer out there to one degree or another. As such, I might throw out posts for things that would normally go into a Newsbytes, just to pad the weeks out. I am thinking of general interest arcade articles though, so we’ll see how those go; I am also looking at recording a podcast with Kevin Williams to detail how the industry is reacting to all of this. We’ll survive, it will just take some perseverance and some patience.

UPDATE: Let me stomp on the Making Of video with my own unboxing & installation video. This includes the installation of the UV lighting kit, which is what takes up a big chunk of the time:

For now, here’s a brief video that Stern Pinball posted about the making of their new Stranger Things pinball machine, which speaks for itself. I did shoot a complete unboxing and installation of a Stranger Things Premium, but I also shot installing the UV lighting kit. It’s just that it took a few hours to do it all, and then I left some of the captured video at my workplace, which was shutdown due to the earthquake a week ago and the virus. I may be getting to it today and we’ll see what I can do. Until then, here’ s Stern’s video:
