This is the second death in the coin-op industry that I’m sad to report in the past couple of weeks. Steve Kaufman passed away last night after a two-year battle with cancer. He started out as an operator and worked at many different coin-op businesses including “Runyon Distributing, Rowe, Games of Nevada, Williams Pinball, Stern Electronics, Konami, Electronic Arts, and Premier Technology/Gottlieb before forming the import/export firm Sales Corp. with partner Dominick DeFazio. “
Steve is survived by his wife Sheila, son David, and daughters Amanda and Stephanie. We extend our sympathies to his family for their loss, as well as our gratitude for his work.
