In our coverage of the arcade goodness at ATEI this year it’s easy to overlook the presence of pinball at the show as it has a fairly small footprint, but it was there nonetheless and fortunately Pinball News was there to take a look at the meager but great offerings. Stern was represented through Electrocoin and had two Wheel of Fortune pins and a Spiderman table there; GlobalVR had Ultrapin there as always and Sega had PinAir, which I believe I read about in a Stinger Report sometime back but it was a brief mention at the time. PinAir looks pretty cool – it’s a cross between air hockey and pinball, which looks to be a smart combination. Hopefully it goes overseas, assuming that it has tested well.
