About a year ago we had a glimpse into The Stinger Report’s uber crystal ball about future releases and now it’s back to give you their Top Ten Most Anticipated International Arcade Releases for 2008/09. Personally you might have some other releases you are anticipating more but it’s safe to say that there are a number of people looking forward to all of the following releases. And here they are:
Top Ten Most Anticipated International Arcade Releases 2008/09
10. ‘Maximum Tune 3 DX’ (Namco Bandai Games)
9. ‘DJ Max Technika’ (Andamiro)
8. ‘2009 Golden Tee LIVE’ (Incredible Technologies)
7. ‘Dance Dance Revolution X’(Konami Digital Entertainment)
6. ‘BlazBlue’ (ARC System Works / Aksys Games)
5. ‘JUBEAT’ (Konami Digital Entertainment)
4. ‘GTI Club – Super Mini Festa’(Konami Digital Entertainment)
3. ‘Castlevania: The Arcade’(Konami Digital Entertainment)
2. ‘Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion’ (Namco Bandai Games)
1. ‘Street Fighter IV’ (Capcom)
No surprises about SFIV right? I hadn’t heard of a new TKN6 update and would love to see more about CastleVania.
I love Minis too, but DAMN, that GTI Club game ranked #4? They must be mad for it in Europe, I guess. Where the hell is Rambo? A Rambo machine can bring in big dollars.
For me it’s Justice League, Dark Presence, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Rambo, and that Harley Davidson game you mentioned yesterday.
Hey Paul, you and I share the same list of anticipated games, I’m really anxious for Justice League and Dark Presence as they both could be really fun. There are a couple more games I am really excited for but unfortunately I’m not allowed to discuss them yet but we should see more on them within the next few months and I know that they will cause quite a stir.
yes Shaggy, we are all excited by Raw Thrills next game! 🙂
That’s not the only one, there is another that hopefully I can start talking about soon. 😉
ooooohhhhh! 😉
If you guys are teasing the new Raw Thrills game like that, then my interest is certainly perking up. Fast and the Furious Drift is great, Nicktoons Nitro looks cute, and the Big Buck games are great timewasters at a bar. Yeah, I can’t wait to see what they’re doing next.
If it is what I heard then it’s completely different than their other games. Unfortunately, I can’t say anything about it yet which is why I haven’t plastered the front page with it. Also if it is what I heard it’s going to capture the attention of the PC gamer and console gamers in the US at probably the same level, if not more than SFIV. Again, that’s if it is what I heard.
Its best to say that this new release will rock the game scene, and will be another thorn in the side of the consumer games media saying arcade is dead There is also the possibility that it will be shown at the same time as another new development from Play Mechanix is launched.
2009 – the year of amusement?
Yes 2009 can be big, if they keep it up with the releases and we keep getting new blood to the scene. I may not be happy about how things have turned out with SFIV but I do give it credit for giving us the attention we need to move forward.
Where is KOF XII ?
