Here are a couple of new interviews with Gary Stern of Stern Pinball by Kathy Vegh of The Home Entertainer. In these two interviews they cover what makes a pinball machine cost what it does and what kind of work goes into building a machine. If you haven’t seen anything on the process behind building a machine before, this is something fascinating to watch. On top of that, we have a possible sighting of their upcoming Big Buck Hunter pinball machine, @ :56 sec into the first video and they also show the same plans again briefly in the 2nd video. If you look carefully at the plans it looks like their may be a scoop target and a mini-playfield. One reason why this could be BBH pinball is that the design doesn’t appear to be like any other recently released layout and it would make sense for them to show off their most recent title when they are showing the plans.
While you don’t see the machine in the video, if you go to 3:56 of the second video where they show the press machine, you can see all of the games listed on it, CSI, WOF,WPT, Sopranos, Indy and right in the front in black letters it says “BIG BUCK”.
There’s also a Lord of The Rings Machine at 5:14, but I can’t see any gold trim on it.
Big Buck Hunter in Jan.
Iron Man in May 2010
If you have any extra details on these I would love to find out more so I could write a post regarding them.
Iron Man might be interesting, if they use scenes and voice from the movies. That was the one thing I was disappointed with on Batman.
