While Namco has been going all out in promoting Pac-Man’s 30th anniversary, most notably with the two arcade titles Pac-Man Battle Royale and Pac-Man’s Arcade Party, it looks like the merchandising behind it all is far from over. They already have produced Pac-Man branded wine glasses, Zippo lighters and leather wallets and now Namco is teaming up with Japanese food company Meiji to slap Pac-Man onto a line-up of dairy products. They might not go with your collector Pac-Man wineglass set but they are doing the solid job of making sure no one forgets whose birthyear it is. To make it extra sweet, each product comes with a special code customers can use to download Pac-Man characters to their mobile phones, making sure that no matter where you go, Pac-Man is watching you.
