Next week we will be keeping an eye on Amusement Expo in Las Vegas but the week after that is another event certainly worth checking out, the annual Midwest Gaming Classic show, which takes place in Brookfield, WI. This year it’s taking place on March 24th & 25th and once again there is plenty of arcade and pinball love that will be there to enjoy.
Both Jersey Jack Pinball and Play Mechanix are supporting the event, Ben Heck will be there with his own pinball creations and the Galloping Ghost Arcade will be providing some arcades to play on top of everything else that the event offers. Jersey Jack in particular is running the Arcade Hall with 100 machines there on free play and I have to imagine that a Wizard of Oz machine will be there too. Just so everyone is aware however, if you plan on attending, pre-orders close this Sunday March 10th. While you don’t have to pre-order to get into the event, it does have some perks including discounted pricing and early show entry so if you are planning on going in the first place, you may as well take care of this all in advance.
I certainly wish I could make it there, which I say every year but where I can’t even make it to Amusement Expo next week and that’s almost in my backyard, my luck won’t afford me a trip to WI this time around either.
