(Thanks to Bowen Kerins for the tip)
Well I guess the news for this week is going to be all pinball, all the time. Nothing wrong with that of course, it’s interesting in fact that pinball stories have increased in recent times.
This week marks the beginning of the Pinburgh 2013 event, a celebration of pinball in the area of Pittsburgh, PA. Since Monday some side events have been organized by the Pittsburgh Pinball League but tomorrow will be the beginning of the PAPA Circuit Final which starts at 9:30AM and goes until this Sunday (full schedule here). 20 qualified Pinball Wizards will compete for cash prizes on 7-games and as a bonus to all of us who can’t make it, the event will be broadcast live online. You can catch the feed on either Geek Gamer TV or UStream. They are expecting a lively and sizable crowd at the events and who knows, perhaps some legendary matches will come out of it worthy of feature film (I’m sure its just a matter of time until someone gives pinball the King of Kong treatment)

I’m pretty sure that Mark from CGR will be there to cover that event as well! 😉
