I love gamesTM, but one thing that annoys me about the magazine is the fact that on the front cover they list the game formats that they cover and arcade is included in this. Trouble is it’s not very often they actually cover any thing arcade related. But hopefully the tides are about to change because in the latest issue they have a full review of Sega’s Afterburner Climax, hooray! Not only that, they also gave it a whooping 8 out of 10. I look forward to seeing more arcade reviews in the future. I appreciate there aren’t as many arcade games as there are console releases, but surely they can spare the old arcade industry a couple of pages now and again.

Dear Arcadehereo – I actually wrote the last arcade feature in GAMEStm, at that point they were shedding staff like a snake sheds skin.
The new owners and staff at GAMEStm are grasping at straws and Yes – I heard they are covering arcade game, but don’t get too excited – this group of ‘experts’ turned up at the ATEI show too late to cover the show and have been secretly rushing round to try and get some coverage!! They borrowed their AFC coverage!!
