Sega Sammy has announced some management changes to their company, and they have created a new R&D department for creating strategies with their pachinko machines. Since I am not familiar with who was in charge before hand, I cannot say how drastic the changes have been but every time management shuffles around that means you can expect some changes in the way that the company does things (sometimes for better and sometimes for worse)

The details can be found in this PDF.

Is retired the Japanese politically correct way of saying they have been fired or let go?

they haven’t all been crap thesays, sega race tv was fun to play but nothing special though and after burner climax was a great game, I’m not too keen on R tunes though since it doesn’t let you continue even if you come 1st place

The only games Suzuki produced I didn’t like were Shenmue 1 and 2. His wiki doesn’t say anything about retirement.

He’s 50 now though so I suppose he might want to quit.

what I’d like to know is whatever happened to psy phi? the touch screen arcade game he was working on that was suppossed to come out in 2006 but all the units got called back for some reason just as they were getting shipped off to arcades, seems a waste really. Wonder what the real reason it was that the game got canceled?
