It’s the end of September and that means that Incredible Technologies’ Golden Tee LIVE 2011 beings shipping today. The latest installment adds five new courses onto the many already included from previous GT games, improved Youtube uploading features, a “Hit List” feature that let’s players pick different background music from popular bands, new clubs, clothing and other online features to drive more play. You can read more about the full line-up of features that GT2011 offers here. One of the aspects about every GT game that is always attractive has to be the low price tag – this one goes for $3700 or less depending upon the option. How successful GT2011 will be compared to it’s successors is a matter of waiting and watching, to give you an idea ITS’s last Silver Strike game sold 3000 units on pre-order alone. Where GT continues to have an incredibly strong following on the bar scene, I imagine that the results will be similar, if not better.
As for what else IT might be working on, they usually come out with a couple of games between Golden Tee releases, whether it’s a follow-up to Silver Strike or something new like Power Putt. I imagine that it won’t be too long before we hear about the next project, in the meantime you can read up more on what’s going on with Golden Tee via the links below.
