UKTI Organises Summit For Digital Entertainment Trade
– Government Department Supports Discussion with UK Digital Out-of-Home entertainment Sector
[London, 29 August 2011] – UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) announces that it will be holding a Summit meeting for those trade associations involved in or associated with the Experience Economy and, in particular, the Digital Out-of-Home Interactive Entertainment (DOE) sector, and including those who utilise the technology within their industry.
The Summit is being kindly hosted at the UK Interactive Entertainment Association (UKIE) offices in central London on October the 11th, 2011.
This high-level gathering has been facilitated following last month’s UKTI-supported first DNA (Digital Out-of-Home Entertainment Network Association) Conference. This successful event was further evidence of UKTI’s commitment to this vibrant sector and innovationist desire to create a coherent, cross-sector approach to international business opportunities.
Kevin Williams, director of leisure consultancy KWP and founders of the DNA, will chair the event that will focus on establishing lines of communication. A means to facilitate better information interchange and networking between the gathered association executives and the membership that they represent – something UKTI sees as vital to a successful engagement with the sector.
