The hit show 24 now has a pinball game to compliment the action-packed thriller that features counter-terrorist Jack Bauer in his quest to defend his country from evil doers and we have a cabinet image of the game to go along with it. We heard about 24 coming to pinball a while ago and according to the press release, it won’t be long before we know how the game plays.  From the press release, the game features:

1. a Suitcase that holds and releases pinballs for multi-ball play; 2. a Sniper House that opens to reveal a bullet-spraying terrorist; 3. an exploding Safe House that one can shoot the pinball into; 4. several single Sniper Drop Targets that can both obscure and free up playfield shots; 5. and lots of multi-ball action.

The game also includes some original speech by Mary Lynn Rajskub who plays Chloe in the series. The game was designed by Steve Ritchie and begins shipping this month. Hit the post break below for the press release or discuss it on our forum.

Funny how only Jack & Chloe feature on the machine and only ‘Chloe’ contributed any new voice clips (suppose Sutherland was too expensive?).
Not sure how far Steve Ritche actually got designing the machine before he and Stern parted company, and he commented he wasn’t sure the machine would ever see the light of day! I hope there’s enough there to keep the home users happy and make the operators a few quid!
