ultracadeIn case you have been curious to hear more about the indictment behind the alleged Ultracade piracy ring that we reported on a last month, Gamasutra has posted a very in-depth investigation regarding the issue, contacting several companies regarding their properties being illegally used on the Ultracade platform and looking into the history and documentation behind the issue at hand. It’s a fairly long but it covers pretty much everything that can be known publicly regarding the situation.

UPDATE- We have received word that Mr. Foley will be taking legal action against the author of the linked article and Gamasutra.com because according to Foley “it defames companies that have always produced legitimate products and they will not stand for the damaging claims.” He also states that he has signed license agreements from each of the companies in question. More details will be forthcoming as the situation unfolds.
