Gaming law struck down in Kansas

Way back in April 2010, word came along that the US state of Kansas adopted a new law banning “gray machines”, gaming devices like coin pushers that weren’t too liked by some, just as the state was making way for casinos to more easily move into the state as they decided who would be the winners and losers for such business in their state.

Some operators had a problem with this  and in a decision that came down this past April by the Supreme Court of the state of Kansas, the law has been struck as unconstitutional as it could be used too broadly. Whether Kansas will be writing up a new, more specific law remains to be seen but as such operators can and have already brought machines like pushers back into their businesses.
